Student Profiles
Abhimanyu Arora, Master of Professional Accounting

"I heard about Curtin Business School back in India - that it's one of the best business schools in Australia - so I planned to apply to Curtin and now I am here. I contacted IDP Chandigarh back in India and they helped me to get admission to Curtin. They guided me at every stage and I just followed their instructions.
I am doing my Masters in Professional Accounting. I am in my 3rd semester. I have one more semester to go after this so I will be graduating at the end of this year. The best thing about Perth is that it's a laid back city and the people are really easygoing.
One benefit of studying at Curtin is that it's so diverse in culture. In my one year studying at Curtin I have met so many people from different parts of the world. The lecturers are really easygoing and they are ready to help you at any stage of the semester.
I just want to say to the students who are considering studying at Curtin: do not hesitate to choose Curtin because it's the best."
Aditya Sen, Bachelor of Technology (Computer Systems and Networking)
“Curtin is a very reputed institution, and had the exact course I wanted to pursue. I’m studying Computer Systems & Networking (Bachelor of Technology). I will graduate in 2009.”
“The teaching methods adopted at Curtin are all focused on industry and work related issues, which I’m sure will help me later on in my working life. A degree from Curtin is well recognised all over, and it also has a strong reputation in South East Asia, where the present electronic & IT manufacturing hubs are located. I think it will help me a lot when I graduate to have a degree from Curtin when I go into the IT industry.”
“The people here are very friendly and gel well with people from different countries. There are people from many parts of the world here, and it’s easy to fit in. I plan to work in Australia once I graduate.”
